#In a major development following the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, India has closed the gates of the Baglihar and Salal dams built on the Chenab River. As a result, the flow of Chenab water to Pakistan under the Indus River System has been significantly reduced, which could severely impact Pakistan’s water supply.
