Elon Musk zieht sich als Berater von Donald Trump zurück! | STREAM Der Tech-Milliardär Elon Musk kündigt nach einem Medienbericht seinen Job als einer der wichtigsten Berater von US-Präsident Donald Trump und zieht damit offenbar Konsequenzen aus der Schieflage seines E-Auto-Bauers Tesla. Trump habe seinem innersten Beraterkreis mitgeteilt, dass Musk in den kommenden Wochen ausscheiden werde, berichtete das Magazin "Politico" am Mittwoch unter Berufung auf drei mit dem Vorgang vertraute Personen. Der Tesla- und SpaceX-Chef ist unter anderem zuständig für umstrittene Sparmaßnahmen und die Entlassung von zig Mitarbeitern der Bundesbehörden. Das US-Präsidialamt teilte mit, Musk werde ausscheiden, wenn seine Arbeit getan sei. Die Tesla-Aktie legte deutlich zu. Hatte sie vor dem "Politico"-Bericht noch mehr als sechs Prozent im Minus gelegen, lag sie am Nachmittag fast vier Prozent im Plus bei knapp 280 Dollar. Ein Mitarbeiter der US-Regierung sagte Reuters, Musks Investoren wollten, dass er zu seinen Unternehmen zurückkehre. Tesla kämpft derzeit mit einem über den Erwartungen liegenden Absatzschwund. Trump selbst hatte am Montag angedeutet, Musk werde seine Aufgaben in der US-Regierung aufgeben: "Ich finde ihn großartig, aber ich denke auch, dass er ein großes Unternehmen zu leiten hat. Irgendwann wird er zurückgehen. Er will es." Trump hatte Musk zum Sonderbeauftragten der Regierung für Einsparungen bis hin zur Auflösung von Behörden ernannt. In dieser Funktion leitet er auch das neugeschaffene Amt für Regierungseffizienz Doge (Department of Government Efficiency). Vorgesehen war zunächst eine 130-tägige Amtszeit für Musk, allerdings war spekuliert worden, er solle dauerhaft tätig sein. Musk sagte vergangene Woche dem Sender Fox News, er werde den Großteil seiner Arbeit zur Senkung der Ausgaben im Bundeshaushalt um eine Billion Dollar bis zum Ende seiner 130 Tage abschließen. Zuletzt war in den USA der Unmut über die auf Musk zurückgehende Kündigung Zehntausender Behördenmitarbeiter gestiegen. Zudem wurden viele der umfassenden Sparmaßnahmen von Doge vor Gericht angefochten. Tesla-Niederlassungen in den USA und im Ausland waren Ziel von Vandalismus, was auch auf Musks Parteinahme zugunsten rechtspopulistischer Parteien zurückgeführt wird. Indiz für die zunehmende Unbeliebtheit von Musk war auch die Wahl eines liberalen Richters in den Obersten Gerichtshof des Bundesstaates Wisconsin am Dienstag. Musk hatte sich persönlich stark für den unterlegenen republikanischen Kandidaten engagiert.
